Xiuwen Xinhongbin Agricultural & Botanical Park is a comprehensive nature education base planned around a butterfly-themed conservatory. Located at Fangmaping (near Chaoyang Village), Xiuwen County, Guiyang, Guizhou, the park spans approximately 400 acres, about approximately 50 minutes from downtown Guiyang — easily a day trip.

Who We Are

Built upon the natural forest ecosystem of Fangmaping in Xiuwen County, the park was born from a simple conviction: as urbanization accelerates, children are drifting further from authentic nature — and Guizhou's mountainous ecology represents a living classroom yet to be fully opened.

We deliberately chose a path distinct from Xiuwen's established Wang Yangming cultural study tours. Instead, butterflies, forests, ecology, and hands-on practice take center stage — giving families, corporate teams, and school groups each a reason to stay and discover their own story in the same woodland.

Signature Feature: Butterfly Conservatory (Planned)

The butterfly conservatory is planned as a butterfly-themed conservatory in Guizhou. Once opened, multiple species — including Common Mormon, Cabbage White, and Chinese Peacock — are planned for display. The conservatory will cultivate host plants such as citrus and prickly ash, sustaining a complete butterfly life-cycle observation environment. It is envisioned as a rare destination in Guizhou where visitors can witness butterflies in flight and observe the emergence process up close.

Spring Butterfly Season (Planned)

Spring (March–May) is planned as the peak season for butterfly activity. The park plans to host its annual Butterfly Season program during this period, once the conservatory opens.

Our Philosophy

We believe that meaningful nature education does not happen at a lectern. It happens when a child touches, smells, and observes a living ecosystem. The park's core mission — reconnecting urban children with the natural world — shapes every zone, from the planned butterfly conservatory to the forest trails. Every space is designed for firsthand experience, not passive viewing.

For corporate clients, we offer more than a patch of lawn. We deliver a fully immersive forest-based experience where team building unfolds organically in an authentic natural setting.
